about
“hazy” is about reflecting back on your youth. This song is about missing the simplicity of your younger days, summer nights surrounded by the people you love, and most of all – missing your friends. It is also an anthem for individuals whose memories include negative relationships, but don’t regret them – as they made you the person you are today. This is the first song I've officially co-produced, so I'm very excited to share it with the world!
lyrics
I know
This is tricky
Are you thinking, thinking of me?
Cut close
I’ve been happy
Though it hurt I don’t regret a thing
I miss hazy nights in summer
Drunk on laughter with my friends
Dreaming ‘til the morning
Caffeine dizzy in our heads
I miss simple days pretending
That our youth would never end
But I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
So long
No more slipping
Are you thinking, thinking of me?
Alone
Oh god, but I’m not worried
Now I know I don’t regret a thing
I miss hazy nights in summer
Drunk on laughter with my friends
Dreaming ‘til the morning
Caffeine dizzy in our heads
I miss simple days pretending
That our youth would never end
But I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I miss those simple days
We’ll dream until the morning,
We’ll dream until the morning
I miss those simple days
We’ll dream until the morning
Now I know I don’t regret a thing
I miss hazy nights in summer
Drunk on laughter with my friends
Dreaming ‘til the morning
Caffeine dizzy in our heads
I miss simple days pretending
That our youth would never end
But I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
I miss those simple days
We’ll dream until the morning,
We’ll dream until the morning
I miss those simple days
We’ll dream until the morning
But I don’t miss you
I don’t miss you
